- No. The free Explorer plan is the full core product — routines and tasks, the full library of games, and the first companion. Premium is optional and only unlocks the other themed worlds, companions, backgrounds, and companion looks and extras — plus, for parents, KudoKids AI, a setup assistant that drafts routines and rewards for their approval; kids can never talk to it.
- What am I putting my name on?
- The free Explorer plan — the full core product, with no ads shown to kids and no child data sold. Families download it and sign up directly, so you're not reselling anything or handling their information. If it isn't right for a family, there's nothing to cancel and nothing lost — which is what makes it easy to recommend.
- Do I need a contract, procurement, or to share student data?
- No. Families sign up directly, so there is nothing for you to procure or sign, no data-sharing agreement, and no student data involved — which is what lets an individual say yes today. A school that wants to fund family access for its whole community has a separate path at kudokids.org/partners/schools; it doesn't run through you.
- How does commission work?
- Commercial partners — creators, coaches, studios, and similar — earn 20–25% recurring commission for 12 months, paid through Stripe Connect. Clinical and community partners recommend the free plan with no money changing hands.
