Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA)

Our Practice

Kudo Kids, LLC (doing business as KudoKids) does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. This applies to all users, including California residents.

Specifically, we do not:

• Sell personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or any third party
• Share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Use personal information for targeted advertising outside of consent-gated Meta advertising measurement on our website
• Sell or share children's personal information under any circumstances

Analytics and Advertising Cookies

Our website uses Google Analytics cookies for aggregate traffic analysis and Meta Pixel cookies for advertising measurement and optimization. Under the CCPA, sharing data with Meta for advertising purposes may constitute “sharing” of personal information.

For this reason:

• Analytics and advertising cookies are only loaded after you provide explicit, independent consent via our cookie banner
• You can consent to analytics cookies without advertising cookies, or vice versa
• We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically opt you out of both analytics and advertising cookies
• You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in our website footer
• Google Analytics has IP anonymization enabled and no advertising features activated
• When you consent to advertising cookies, Meta Pixel data is used to measure ad performance, retarget website visitors, and optimize ad delivery
• When you submit a form or purchase, hashed personal information (email, name, phone, location) is sent server-side to Meta's Conversions API for event matching
• You can also control Meta's use of your data through your Facebook Ad Preferences

Your California Privacy Rights

Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
• Delete your personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (KudoKids does not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of)
• Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Limit use of sensitive personal information

Financial Incentive Disclosure

KudoKids offers a referral program that provides free premium subscription months to users who refer new paying subscribers. Under the CCPA, this may be considered a “financial incentive” program because the reward is tied to providing personal information (the referral relationship).

Participation in the referral program is entirely voluntary. You may opt out of the referral program at any time without affecting your access to KudoKids. The value of the incentive is reasonably related to the value of the data provided, calculated based on the cost of the premium subscription tier.

We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days as required by the CCPA. If you are an authorized agent submitting a request on behalf of a California resident, please include proof of authorization.
