Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA)
KudoKids does not sell your personal information for money. For US visitors, our website uses advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) by default to measure and optimize our ads — under the CCPA/CPRA this isa “sale” and a “share” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you can opt out below at any time. We never sell or share children's personal information.
Click below to opt out of analytics and advertising cookies on this site. Your opt-out takes effect immediately in this browser and does not expire.
Our Practice
Kudo Kids, LLC (doing business as KudoKids) does not sell personal information for money, and does not rent or trade personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. One data flow qualifies as a “sale” and a “share” as the CCPA/CPRA defines those terms: the consent-managed Meta advertising flow on our website described below, which you can switch off at any time. This applies to all users, including California residents.
Specifically, we do not:
- Sell personal information for money to data brokers or any third party
- Share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the consent-managed Meta advertising on our website (measurement, retargeting audiences, and ad-delivery optimization) — which you can switch off above or in Cookie Settings
- Use personal information for targeted advertising outside of the consent-managed Meta advertising on our website (measurement, retargeting audiences, and ad-delivery optimization)
- Sell or share children's personal information under any circumstances
Analytics and Advertising Cookies
Our website uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies for aggregate traffic analysis and session analytics (with advertising storage denied to Microsoft for every visitor), and Meta Pixel cookies for advertising measurement and optimization. Under the CCPA/CPRA, sharing data with Meta for advertising purposes is a “sale” and a “share” of personal information.
For this reason:
- For visitors in the United States, analytics and advertising cookies are on by default, with clear notice on your first visit and a one-click opt-out (above, in the notice banner, or via Cookie Settings in the footer). Your opt-out never expires and is never reset by us
- For visitors in the EU, UK, Switzerland, and everywhere else, nothing loads until you explicitly opt in via our cookie banner
- Separately from cookies, when you complete a purchase we count it server-side in our own analytics (Google Analytics, first-party measurement only) so we can measure sales accurately. Ad-personalization signals stay off in that measurement unless you have allowed advertising cookies, and it is not used for cross-context behavioral advertising
- You can allow analytics cookies without advertising cookies, or vice versa
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically opt you out of both analytics and advertising cookies
- You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in our website footer
- Google Analytics has IP anonymization enabled and no advertising features activated
- When advertising cookies are active, Meta Pixel data is used to measure ad performance, retarget website visitors, and optimize ad delivery
- When you submit a form, start a checkout, or complete a purchase with advertising cookies active, hashed personal information (email, name, phone, location) — along with your IP address and browser user-agent (unhashed), the Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp, _fbc), and, on purchases, a hashed account identifier — is sent server-side to Meta's Conversions API for event matching
- You can also control Meta's use of your data through your Facebook Ad Preferences
Your California Privacy Rights
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Delete your personal information
- Opt outof the sale or sharing of personal information — use the opt-out button at the top of this page, the notice banner, or Cookie Settings in the footer
- Non-discrimination— we will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit use of sensitive personal information
Financial Incentive Disclosure
KudoKids offers a referral program: when someone signs up for KudoKids using your referral code or link, your family receives one free month of premium access — and the new family receives one free month as well, up to a maximum of three referral months per family on each side. The reward is granted at signup; the person you refer does not need to become a paying subscriber. The two milestone rewards below are counted differently: the five-referral reward counts signups, and the ten-referral lifetime pass counts only referred families who take a paid plan and stay active for 90 days. Two further rewards follow from the same referral relationships: at five referrals you receive an exclusive companion skin and a discount on the lifetime plan, and at ten qualifying referrals you receive a free lifetime premium pass. Under the CCPA all of these are “financial incentive” rewards because they are tied to providing personal information (the referral relationship: your referral code and the fact that the person you referred signed up with it).
Participation in the referral program is entirely voluntary — you opt in by sharing your referral link or code, and you may stop participating at any time without affecting your access to KudoKids. The value of the incentive is reasonably related to the value of the data provided, calculated from the retail price of whichever reward is granted — the premium months, the companion skin, the plan discount, or the lifetime pass. Full material terms are in Section 16 of our Privacy Policy.
