You designed their world. The dashboard is how you see it working — task completions, mood trends, Kudo Coin balances, and approvals, all in one clear view.
It’s 7:15 AM. Dad has a coffee in one hand and his phone in the other. Three kids: Emma (10, 12-day streak), Jake (7, 3-day streak), and Lily (4, streak broken yesterday).
Family tab: Emma has 2 pending tasks from last night (homework and journal). Jake has 1 reward request: Movie Night Pick (60 coins). Lily has no pending items but her mood check-in from yesterday shows a frowny face.
Dad taps the Inbox. Approves Emma’s homework — one tap. Approves Emma’s journal — one tap. Approves Jake’s Movie Night Pick — one tap, 60 coins deducted. Three approvals in about 10 seconds.
He opens Lily’s profile. Mood has been lower since Wednesday. She skipped her afternoon tasks two days in a row. No alerts, just a pattern. He makes a mental note to check in with her after school.
Mom opens the same dashboard on her tablet at lunch. Dark mode. Same data, same pending items (now empty since Dad handled them). She sees Lily’s mood trend too. They text each other: “Maybe Lily needs a park day this weekend.”
Total time for Dad: 90 seconds. He didn’t hover, nag, or micromanage. He saw what needed seeing and acted on what needed acting.
Everything you need to see, approve, and understand — organized and actionable.
Whether you have one child or five, the Family tab shows every child's status, stats, and latest activity in compact rows. No digging through menus.
The Inbox collects all pending task completions and reward redemptions. Quick-approve banners highlight the most urgent items. Filter by type with a single tap.
The Insights tab shows analytics you can act on: which tasks get done consistently, how mood correlates with activity, and how the Kudo Coin economy is flowing.
KudoKids runs on phones, tablets, and desktops. The parent view automatically adapts to your screen size and respects your system color scheme, or you can set light or dark mode manually.
The parent experience is built around four tabs, each designed for a specific purpose.
Your home base. See the family name, today's date, a quick stats ribbon (routines and tasks completed, total Kudo Coins earned, pending approvals), and a row for each child. Tap any child to open their detailed dashboard.
Every pending action in one place. Filter by category: All, Tasks, Rewards, or Savings. Each item shows the child's name, what they are requesting, and the point value. Approve or return with one tap.
Analytics with teeth. Toggle between time periods (daily, weekly, monthly) and filter by child. See task completion rates, earning vs. spending trends, and wellness engagement.
Complete family configuration. Manage Kudo Coin economy rules, vacation mode, family members, children's profiles, security settings, data export/import, wellness feature toggles, and game management.
Tap into any child's profile to see a comprehensive view: mood trend over the past week, Kudo Coin balance and recent transactions, active tasks and their status, savings goals and progress, and any alerts. Quick-action buttons let you add tasks, adjust rewards, or view their full history without leaving the page.
The layout adapts to your device. On a phone, you get a compact single-column view. On a tablet, content flows into a two-column layout. On a desktop, you see a full three-column grid with maximum information density. The responsive system uses four breakpoints to ensure the interface always feels native to your screen.
The parent interface supports three color scheme options: follow your system setting, force light mode, or force dark mode. All charts, cards, and text maintain proper contrast ratios in both modes.
Export your family's data when you need it. Transaction histories, task completion records, and activity reports are all exportable for your records or for sharing with a co-parent or teacher.
